IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT DC FIRE WATCH REGULATIONS
- Only security agencies licensed in the District of Columbia can provide fire watch services.
- Fire watch is required whenever ANY part of your fire alarm or sprinkler is malfunctioning
- You must submit a fire watch plan to the fire marshal for approval.
- The fire watch plan must also submit a copy of a service contract with a licensed agency providing the fire watch service.
